Mezzo-Soprano Yvonne Strumecki has been a musician throughout most of her life. She began her musical studies at age 8, playing the flute and piano for 15 years before turning her focus to a performance career. She graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Performance, and then spent her first season in the Young Artist Program at Sarasota Opera and as a soloist with the Orlando Philharmonic in Florida.

While living in Chicago for 8 years, Yvonne completed her Masters Degree in Creative Writing (Poetry), and landed her first national tour of the Lincoln Center production of South Pacific in the role of Bloody Mary; the key role of her repertoire, now having been a part of 10 productions. For the last 6 years, Yvonne has been living in New York. She booked 2 more national tours (Man of La Mancha and Saturday Night Fever) and sings regionally throughout the United States, including Cape Playhouse, Flat Rock Playhouse, and Virginia Repertory Theatre among many others.
